Anti-Corruption Management: Implementation of ISO 37001:2016 Standard

A seminar-meeting was held at the National Center of Expertise with the participation of the Chairman of the Management Board of the Enterprise, Mr. E.A. Kiyasov, the Enterprise’s Anti-Corruption Compliance Service, heads of branches, and branch employees responsible for implementing anti-corruption activities.

The lecturer of the seminar was Mr. Erlaz Mukhtarovich Zhaiykbayev, Lead Auditor on the implementation of ISO 37001:2016 “Anti-bribery Management System.”

The topic of the seminar was the application of the provisions and requirements of ISO 37001:2016 “Anti-bribery Management System. Requirements with guidance for use.”

Mr. Zhaiykbayev noted that ISO is an international organization that unites national standardization bodies from more than 160 countries worldwide. Everything developed by ISO is issued in the form of international standards. Since its establishment in 1947, ISO has published over 23,000 standards covering a wide range of fields. The lecturer also explained the essence of ISO 37001, described the structure of the standard in detail, and provided a definition of bribery.

In conclusion, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service, Mr. A.M. Myrzagulov, expressed gratitude to Mr. Zhaiykbayev for the useful and important information and conveyed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
